Podere Cà di Ban - Pontremoli - Italy Cà di Ban Traditional Wine Italian Wine for real! Every year the wine is different following the peculiarities of each vintage. The small production from 33 years old vines allows to perform an ultra accurate wine making process which follows the local tradition dating back to 400 years ago. To comply with this old Italian wine making philosophy, our wines are not filtered nor clarified and no metallic or plastic capsule is posted on bottles’ neck. The only concession to modern technology are the plastic stoppers which have been adopted to avoid the problem of the cork taste often encountered in wines. The vine growing zone is called Lunigiana. A still wild and secluded enclave of the Tuscan region, surrounded by Appennini Mountains and facing a valley leading to the Mediterranean Sea. Prices are ex-cellar. Vat not included.
